The Little Yellow Digger

When the little yellow digger gets stuck in the mud, a range of bigger diggers are sent to finish the job...plus other fun adventures of this tiny tenacious machine.
We are auditioning on Tuesday 5 August for three roles at Traning Room1, Takapuna War Memorial Hall, 7 The Strand, Takapuna.
Actor 1: Character called Doug - could be played by either Male or Female (aged 20 – 50).
Doug is head of the construction site and he/she is hot on health and safety, rules and regulations. Good comedy actor strong in both verbal and physical comedy. Singer.
Actor 2: Character called Bob – could be played by either Male or Female (aged 20 – 50)
Bob is the next level down in terms of the hierarchy. He/she likes winding Doug the boss up. Likes his/her tea breaks. Good comedy actor strong in both verbal and physical comedy. Singer.
Actor 3: Character called Lacky – could be played by either Male or Female (aged 20 – 30)
Bob’s sidekick. This is, at this stage, a non-speaking role but must be a good comedy actor telling the story with strong facial and physical comedy. A strong skill for whistling is also desired.

(9am till 5pm but we may start later in the morning and go later in the evenings on Lighting Plot (Wed 17), Technical (Thurs 18) and Dress (Fri 19). If cast please leave the early evenings of this week clear until 7pm.
Educational Season: (school and early childhood centre groups coming to The PumpHouse Theatre for the show during last two weeks of term) :

Actors must be available for these dates – however a separate contract will be issued.
Fees: $650 (less WH tax) per week, plus $50 for any extra shows booked outside the performance schedule above.
